THROWING 1: INTRODUCTION TO THROWING with Josh Herman, Fall

This course is focused on the fundamentals of throwing technique including wedging, centering, trimming, basic shaping and glazing. Included in the course is an introduction to the principles of throwing and mindfulness and the integration of the two.
The cost for this 6 week course is $400.

This is a 6 week course taught by Tao of Clay founder Josh Herman. It is a 2 hour class held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm
Our Starter Throwing Tool Kit, which includes all the necessary tools for the class, is loaned to students at the beginning of the course and must be returned after the six-week period. If you wish to keep the tools beyond the six weeks, the kits are available for purchase during registration or at our on-site shop.
Students enrolled in paid courses have limited access to the studio for practice during specified hours. To ensure availability, it's advisable to check the calendar on the student portal before planning studio practice sessions. Further details regarding access and studio updates can be accessed through the student portal on our website.
