Full Kiln Firing
At Tao of Clay, we offer full kiln firing services to suit your firing needs. Review the size of the kiln that fits your project and schedule a drop-off date using the buttons below. Please ensure you’ve read and agreed to our firing policy, which accompanies your purchase. While we take great care with all pieces, we cannot guarantee that they will be free from damage during firing.
Firing Temperatures & Materials
We fire bisque work to cone 06 and glaze work to cone 6. If you need to fire outside of this temperature range, please reach out to us at info@taoofclay.com to discuss your specific requirements.
Important Pickup Information
All work must be picked up within 48 hours of drop-off. If you cannot collect your pieces within this timeframe, please schedule a different drop-off time, as we do not have the storage capacity to hold your work at the studio.

Per-Piece Firing
Need to fire but don’t have enough work to fill an entire kiln? Simply want to use our glazes? No problem! Our Per-Piece firing option has you covered!
With our per-piece structure, you pay just $3.00 per pound, making it the perfect solution for those on a day pass or anyone with smaller firing needs. Reach out to us at info@taoofclay.com if you have any questions!
Here’s how it works:
No day pass is required if you’re just coming in to glaze your pieces.
Review our calendar and visit the studio outside of class hours to use the glaze area.
Set up a Kiln Fire account to submit your pieces for firing.
Bring in greenware or bisque pieces for Cone 5-6 firing only.
Outside clay must be reviewed by our staff upon check-in to be submitted.
No outside glazes are allowed for per-piece firing.
Turnaround times for per-piece firing are not guaranteed.
