Tao of Soup 2026: A Community Fundraiser Event

Join us at Tao of Clay for Tao of Soup, a cozy evening where our studio members and local restaurants come together to share what they do best. Enjoy warm soups, good company, and take home a handmade ceramic bowl crafted by our members, all while supporting a great cause.

Volunteer for Tao of Soup
Tao of Soup returns on Sunday, November 8, from 6 to 8 PM. This is our annual charity event supporting Kitchens for Good: members throw the bowls, restaurants bring the soup, and everyone who attends buys a ticket, enjoys a bowl of soup, and keeps the bowl. All profits go to Kitchens for Good! Tao of Clay handles all firing for event bowls.
- Saturday, October 17, from 5 to 9 PM: Volunteer to throw bowls. Come throw 5 to 10 bowls to donate to the event and get a free ticket for your donation. Members must attend the throwing event to donate bowls.
- Saturday, October 24th between 5-9 PM: Glaze bowls. Return to glaze what you've thrown.
- Volunteer to help at the event: We're making the event bigger this year and could use extra hands. Volunteers should be able to attend from 3 to 9 PM on November 8.
Members who would like to participate in making bowls for the event must sign up ahead of time as spots are limited.
Saturday Late-Night Open Studio

Saturday October 24th | 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Join us for an extended Open Studio! The studio will be open for members to work late from 5:00–9:00 PM. Tao of Soup throwing and glazing will be happening during the late nigth open studio times.
Members who wish to participate in the Tao of Soup bowl production must sign up ahead of time as spots are limited.
