On View: September 27, 2025 – June 7, 2026

Boundless explores how the physical, social, and political landscapes of Southern California shaped craft. Nearly 150 objects from Mingei’s permanent collection, set against large-scale photography, transport you to the breathtaking locations reflected in the ceramics. Through these landscapes and the awe-inspiring science of clay, glaze, and fire, the exhibition celebrates mid-twentieth century Southern California ceramics.

Members’ names will be on a list at the door for free entry. This offer applies only to members who were active on or before October 13, 2025; members who joined after this date are not eligible.
