Tao of Soup 2026: A Community Fundraiser Event

$35/person ($5 for kids under 12)

Join us at Tao of Clay for Tao of Soup, a cozy evening where our studio members and local restaurants come together to share what they do best. Enjoy warm soups, good company, and take home a handmade ceramic bowl crafted by our members, all while supporting a great cause.

Your ticket includes:

• Entry to this special community night
• Soup tastings from San Diego favorites: Azuki Sushi, Bosforo, The Fishery, Malibu Farm,  

• Puesto, & Wolf in the Woods 
• Beer from local brewery, Mujeres Brew House and bread from San Diego staple, Con Pane Rustic Breads & Cafe
• A handmade ceramic bowl by Tao of Clay members (yours to take home)
• Contribution to Kitchens for Good, with 100% of proceeds benefiting their culinary training and job creation programs

• Adults: $35 (includes handmade bowl)
• Kids (under 12): $5 (includes soup only, no ceramic bowl)

About Kitchens for Good

Kitchens for Good works with talented job seekers and entrepreneurs who have been excluded from traditional pathways to employment and business ownership.

Through California State-Certified Apprenticeships, job seekers gain technical training, paid on-the-job experience, industry-recognized credentials, career coaching, and the support needed to build lasting careers, and aspiring food business owners gain access to commercial kitchen space, technical assistance, and sales opportunities to launch and grow their enterprise.

Both pathways are designed around the same goal: helping people turn their skills and ambition into income, opportunity, and long-term economic mobility.
